Employees from LarsonAllen LLP will be presenting their job experiences in the information security world. Learn about opportunities in the field of security and the methods used to help companies secure their network from malicious attacks. Pizza will also be provided.

This month's speaker will be from IBM's Super Computing Research Center. Food will be provided.

Hang out in the ACM room during exams for a break from the chaos and stress. Food is pending.

All ACM members are encouraged to attend the ITSB meetings, held biweekly on Wednesday nights at 5:00 in Walter Library Rm 101. This meeting will determine grant money for clubs, so its very important to have a representative there.

Volunteers are needed to help recruit new members at the Student Activity Fair in the Coffman Union Great Hall. The Activity Fair will be held on February 3 from 10-2:00.

ACM will be co-hosting a presentation by controversial free software advocate Richard Stallman on campus Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Stallman has been called radical and extremist due to his steadfast beliefs on software. He has been campaigning against both software patents and what he believes are excessive extensions of copyright laws since the 1990s.

The ACM Office is located in room 2-204 of the Electrical Engineering/Computing Science Building. This is one floor below the ground, near the Study Commons. The ACM Office is a great place to study, meet people in your classes, or just relax.

This roomy office boasts computers, a reference library, a large study area with tables and a whiteboard, a cozy living room area with couches, and a kitchen area with fridges, and a microwave. The office is open most of the day during the academic year.
